What is an Exercise Physiologist (EP)?
We are allied health professionals who are university qualified with a passion for assisting you—our clients—to live your happiest and healthiest lives.
As the name suggests, we use tailored exercise as our medium to assist you towards your health goals.
We build on the services and diagnoses provided by your GP and Allied Health providers including physiotherapists, psychologists, dieticians, speech, occupational therapists etc.
Our extensive study means we have specific knowledge to treat chronic health conditions, diseases, and injuries.
What does working with an EP look like?
Step 1:
We get to know you and what you are looking to improve on during our time together.
Step 2:
We walk you through some simple activities to test your abilities and find out your strengths and areas for improvement.
Step 3:
We formulate a plan with you. You are the expert in what is realistic and achievable in your life. We find what works best with the timeframe you want to achieve your goal.
Step 4:
We re-test. This is vital as it tells us if what we are doing is actually helping us work towards your goals. If we are not measuring, we are guessing.
Step 5:
We continually adjust your program to your current ability and as your goals change.

An Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC), also known as a Team Care Arrangement, is a Medicare program designed to improve the health and well-being of individuals with chronic or complex health conditions. This plan allows eligible patients to access up to 5 rebatable appointments per calendar year with health professionals such as exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, or dietitians.
To qualify for an EPC, certain criteria must be met, including having a chronic medical condition that requires multidisciplinary care. It's a fantastic way to tap into a team of health professionals who can help create a tailored approach to your health.
If you think you might be eligible or want to know more about how to get started, don’t hesitate to ask us or speak with your GP for guidance! Remember, your health is a team effort, and we're here to help you score those health goals in style! 🍏🏃♂️✨
